Our History...

O’Hara Trucking & Excavating Inc. has served the Niagara Region since 1977. Founder and current president Dan O’Hara created the company at the age of 16 purchasing a small truck to deliver water, small loads of stone and topsoil. Five years later, he aquired his first backhoe and truck and started performing various small excavations for local contractors and residential customers.

The company has since grown over the years to employ more than 40 experienced operators, truck drivers and pipe layers with over 35 pieces of earthmoving equipment and trucks. With the help of our site supervisors Rob, John and other staff members, we have expanded our line of work installing storm sewers, water mains, sanitary and shoreline protection for our local municipalities and contractors including Industrial, commercial and institutional site work.
